20250210-2239. Welp, I guess I do NOT know how to stop, eh! So this time I’ve really made use of my latest discovery: Submenus! That’s correct! After I searched and created internal links (using the pound sign in front of my query), I was on a roll, baby, and couldn’t stop!
My KJV Audio Bible is far from fully completed! There are three HUGE audio files that this damned platform refuses to allow the uploads. Then there are the individual verses – a total of 31,103!
So I’m going into each of the 66 KJV Bible pages and tweaking the single column into two columns.
I placed the Audio file and the Navigation menu on the left column at 30 percent width, while the Headers or Chapter Titles and their associated verses are place on the right column at 60 percent width.
I must say that the “jump-link” really works quite beautifully! I’m so proud of this biblical project. Brouhaha!
Anyways, I had to first go into Text mode and NOT the usual Visual mode using the Classic and NOT the Block version.
And from there I had to “extract” the “codes” and Replace my OLD uploaded csv files version that had all these dashes – with a new version containing no dashes. These would be the “id” values.
This is really easy with a little back-engineering. Of course, this all occurs from the “front-end” of running a “domain” site. I do NOT know the REAL hard-coding from the “back-end”. That’s for the experts/geniuses. But I’d like to place myself as smart enough.
So far I’ve tweaked four KJV books, which contain the smaller amount of chapters in the following order: Obadiah, Philemon, Jude, and then Revelation.
The first two books were tested over and over again until the layout was perfected to my liking.
And then I finished the other two but still had to tweak and will tweak some more because for whatever reason, when I clicked on one of the internal links, the whole “page” seemed to jump or shift and that pissed me off!
