20250513-1046. Greetings, chumps! I’m still in my pajamas and my bed is still unmade after tweaking my weblog site to emulate the “wh-djt-45-47-style-guide”! The weather was gray cloudy this morning and cold, too. But the sunshine and the fluffy, puffy clouds are coming out!
By combining my stylized elements from my WordPress host, the Elementor theme plug-in and the presidential style guide, I’ve gotten my weblog site to where I really liked it a lot!
I really liked the HUGE or YUGE (á la El Presidente Trumpo) fonts, especially found in the Title block or part, which is set-off with the lighter font color of stone cold against the darker blue background color.
While I am NOT fan of political clout or anything politicized to harvest energetic “loosh” or something else emotionally-charged, I still enjoy listening to our fearless leader, err, or whosoever is acting in or representing as currently the EO role from the front-end or behind the scenes, which I were I’m at now or operating from since encountering THEM over 25 slong years ago!
Y’all could blame unto moi for sharing some organic, ever-changing, spur-of-the-moment “suggestions” for your “narratives” based on incoming thoughts and responses to current ad nauseam mainstream news media via my Twatter account, which has been under the same social media “username or handle” like my weblog site here.
Anyways, I’ve got both the “Header” and “Footer” parts in dark colors, blue and black, respectively. I wanted the “Content” part to be dark blue, too, but the Elementor hard-coding would force my dark colors to turn whitish!
So I had NO choice but to revert back to my stone cold background color, so that the text in black fonts would be easier to read against this lighter background color.
I’ve redone all my static pages and forced the blocks to assume a Bento Grid pattern of black rounded borders and reddish background color. I’ve added some yellowish gold background color to off-set the dual colors of black and red.
The three main Elementor parts (Archives, Single Post and Single Page) have been tweaked carefully to match the styles. I’ve learned to use the Copy and Paste Styles and Control V to move “Container” parts around, because clicking and dragging Elementor “Container” parts do NOT seem to work effectively as moving seamlessly the Gutenberg “Group” blocks.
The Share Buttons and Author parts share the same dark blue background color as the Header part above; while the WordPress widgets share the gray background colors.
So to summarize, here are my colors: black Footer, dark blue Header and Title, stone cold Content, and alien gray WordPress widgets area.
Also, I noticed that my “Site Icon” is different when I would switch between WordPress and Elementor. So this helps me to avoid confusion which “platform” is active.
So I have three “icons”: the blue Gravatar for my WordPress account, the stone cold icon for my Business account and the orange twin paws for my Elementor theme plug-in.
Like what that Live show/Video guy mentioned about his project being a “nightmare” earlier this morning during his Live stream, my weblog project is also a “nightmare”, which was a word that I used in my recent post from last week.
Yeah, I’ve kept the color schemes to the minimum, using the reddish neck tie, stone cold shirt, and dark blue suit from the presidential style guide for the background colors and the Elementor default colors of pink and blue for the “links” and basic black for all other parts.
That’s all. I’ve yet to get ready for brewing and drinking my dark roast whole bean coffee, grocery shopping for FOOD with my elderly father, and just waking up some more throughout the day. I’ve been feeling VERY sleepy lately and almost pain-free. Thanks. End of transmission 1120 AM PT. Edited 1125 and 1146 AM PT.
