  • 20111019-Random Thoughts

    Here are my notes entered into the “Memo” app of my cellphone:

    10/19/2011 10:51am: I toggled my hearing aide to hear amplified noise while waiting in the car for the twosome to get out of their doctor’s appointment. The double-horned sound of a large truck startled me. But the sounds of rushing cars behind me really sounded like raindrops falling. I recall how old granny must have mistaken white noise for rain.

    10/19/2011 10:05am: En route both appoinments, Maw described how inspectors tell the licensed personnel to make sure they comply. But since some staff were already overworked/taxed, they couldn’t keep up. This was before the state implemented computer and a time when paper works had to be inspected, too. Of course, sabateurs would not cooperate and management would be the ones in troubles because they failed to adequately staff and address work-related issues. In my opinion, regulations are necessary to ensure that corrupt/immoral/unethical business practices are addressed for the “common good”.

    10/19/2011 08:50am: En route home bound from his morning’s mass, Maw and Paw were talking about the raise in COLA of, say, $40 per month while at the same time the raise in Medicare premiums of, say, $38 per month. That’s at least two dollars that go back to the government. Furthe, the increase will be an increase in gross earnings at the end of the year. Thus, more in taxes will be paid for that year’s end. The point is: Why keep raising if the concept is still th same each year?

    10/19/2011 07:49am: This was a thought from yesterday or the day before and it was about how we are bio-experiments and how our “creators” would log in our progress on the medical charts, which would be the same/equivalent to the New Age version of the Akashic records or religiously-speaking, th “Book/s of Life”.

    10/19/2011 06:49am: I recall a fourth grade class. We were at least four and we drew a “Strawberry Field” with children on the left on a large cardboard. Doug M#ssm@n pleaded to me: “Please! Please! Can I take our project home? Or I’ll get into trouble with my dad!” I couldn’t recall if I was being greedy or nice. But Tony the fat white kid said: “Let her have it. She did most of the work.”

  • Outsourcing slaves…

    Well, we are being screwed by the Chinese who hold a monopoly on their currency; while American jobs and innovations are being stolen by China. It’s too bad Americans ask for too much by taxes, wages and benefits. Perhaps, America has become too greedy, forgot about buying products Made in USA and taking up the dirty jobs, which (you guessed it) either goes to cheap labor overseas or to illegal ALIENS here.

  • 20111006-Weathery Ways

    Whoo! Hoo! After a nice downpour of much needed rain for the plant life, the sunshine is WHITE and BRIGHT! The fluffy, puffy clouds of white are ever present in the crispy, clear blue skies! I like the air is clean. I like the day is calm.

    I like the peace of mind of being un/deremployed. I got a call from a head hunter suggesting that I call everyday for work. And that means missing out on being home, blogging, and caring for parakeets and the elderly.

  • Background check/screening consent…

    I’ve been meaning to put this out and may have done so already in one of my old blog entry.

    I’m looking at the head hunter’s paperwork (revised on May 22, 2009 and September 2010). Those email were sent to me on June 25, 2010 and on December 9, 2010, respectively.

    Here are the major headers within a .pdf and word documents, respectively.

    The head hunter claimed that they needed the authorization signed or something updated every six months. Is this correct? I thought employers (especially this pro-Obama head hunter) should NOT snoop around us AMERCANIZED, tax-paying citizens?

    If this is normal/standard procedure, who are they protecting? Crooks? Illegal ALIENS? Insane? Is that why they haven’t called/emailed me back for any job opportunity? Are they trying to figure out if I need a temporary or full-time job by snooping around someone’s CREDIT and/or financial situation?

  • Need job now…

    So I left messages with the head hunter at 12:50pm and then the hearing aid center at 12:53pm. At 12:56pm, there was a busy signal. I’ve not gotten a call back from the last two.

    Anyway, the head hunter is pro-Obama. Long ago, I was interviewing for a position at the 4CCC off N. 1st Street. Obama’s life-sized cardboard stand was proudly displayed in the lobby. Next, I interviewed at a solar panel place where my car wouldn’t start. I didn’t get the jobs.

    At around 15:33pm, I got a generic email from a head hunter saying that they didn’t have any job opportunity for my qualifications.

    You can see why my path is among the sinners and mostly the poor and needy. I await for TPTB and pals to fulfill their “honor code” (of conduct).

    I was trying to access the California Job Service:: Cal JOBS:: Employment Resource and received the following message:

    CalJOBSSM Temporarily Unavailable

    As of Friday, October 23, 2009, CalJOBSSM, California’s online job exchange system is temporarily unavailable. EDD recently took this precaution in light of a few isolated cases of unauthorized access to posted résumé information. Such access was available to a limited number of résumé postings and did not compromise confidential information contained in the system such as Social Security numbers. EDD is working to ensure that the entire system is fully secure before restoring access to the CalJOBSSM site. Please check back to this site for further updates.

    ATTENTION Unemployment Insurance Claimants: The CalJOBSSM registration requirement is suspended until the CalJOBSSM system is available again. Failure to register will not affect your eligibility for unemployment benefits while the system is unavailable.

    It is not necessary to contact EDD to inquire about your CalJOBSSM registration requirement. However, you must attend any and all scheduled appointments required for your unemployment insurance benefits.

    [Flynn’s comments: What would happen to those who were laid off and cannot log online to file for unemployment? Does this mean they have to drive to their local EDD and wait in a long line? Where is the statistical data to count those who are still collecting unemployment benefits or not looking for a job after giving up or cannot collect unemployment and NOT working?

  • 20091027-Work Now!

    Get a job! You are wasting your time!

    Okay, Maw! If only Obama’s severe economic recession disappears and only if some willing employer would let me work even part-time with whatever skills I have left in the latter years, I’d be out of your life and working far away from you! But that’s only a dream.

    What I’d like to do is be my own boss. But I’ve no funds. Gee, I wonder why? I’d go crazy if I had a micro-manager as a boss and stuck in a cubicle in front of the damn computer the whole day and away from REAL sunlight, not some artificial lighting that gives migraines!

    I already had enough of someone who is TOO loving and protective for the past forty, friggin, long years! My personality is too stubborn to do anything that doesn’t benefit moi. Do you think I could tell you the truth why I waited over nine friggin years for justice and not work after leaving a VERY good company for two years?

    Do you think the law or government would help moi, knowing about how they operate? Maybe and if it weren’t for unemployment, I wouldn’t learn that the world is full of nutters! No wonder I can’t stand working!

    No wonder there exists possessed nutters who crawl all over the place to ruin the souls of people. These trolls cannot stand the sight of moi! They would dare try to harm many of those who try to do the right things!

    Anyway, I’d like to work. I don’t know what my mission is but I’d like to be productive. I’d like to make use of my bloated ego and my busy mind. I’d like to for once make a dent in society. I’d like to make noise, farting or otherwise.

    Said @ dinner 10/19, can’t imagine complexity of building up from nothing. Today read old docs from Cr Mgr! Like politicians, higher levels smarter. No doubt!!!

    Called 2 temp agencies, told 1 of 1-week smeal. Cr mgr out indefinitely due to cracked knee, meaning stuck w/ collections. Other clerk back. Very patient gal..

  • 20091021-Eating Lunch

    Eating lunch in car. Sunny, clear blue skies w/ some sylphs over the Bay. Area under video survey. Rice, veggies, lil eggplant omlette. Food @ breaktimes, too..

  • 20091020-Psycho Cow

    There’s a psychotic cow working near my work area. She would file her invoices (mindlessly) and slam the drawers shut. She is emotionless, had some sort of wound prickling up and down her neck and uses louder than normal and unprofessional tone of voice towards moi AND the controller. She needs to be run through the `LEADING` laudromat and have her head cleaned.

    Anyway, she is fat, nay obsenely obsese! She wore a tight white T-shirt exposes every curve of her unprofessional flabs of fat; a tight blue jean and red sneaker-like shoes. Her feet were mysteriously VERY small for her disgusting thickness. Why do females like her want to wear tight clothes? To blind the cute guys?

    Later on in the after, I showed the bottom of my shoes and my big butt! I made the `Psycho` sound [choo, choo, choo, hah, hah, hah] very softly and said `Karma` a little louder when she was dropped something while removing and stapling maniacly on the desk separated by a cubicle wall in front of me.

    She has blue eyes and long stringy brunette hair. Maybe it’s time for her to leave the place. Because I’m not staying there even though it’s really supposed to be a one-week assignment from hell. But because the troll, who is vacationing in Mexico, won’t come back to her desk and relieve me of her job, I’m STUCK there for awhile! Losers.
