20091019-What Luck?
Learned this afternoon (and while getting password for printing out credit card receipts) that the friggin’ clerk got into accident while vacationing in Mexico. Her bum left side from the past was aggravated and there will be surgery for the affected knee area. That means more than one week or more of suffering inside cubicle hole from HELL! I hate you, Pete!

20090916-As Usual
Politics has become `business as usual`. While eating breakfast with a surprise visit from Ben and “Minh” and their cute grandson, we learned that Philippines has become nothing more than a big conglomerate of profit-seeking politicians, businesses and lawyers, too, along with the authorities backing up their status quo.
Filipinos know that working here and paying taxes is not going to get them anywhere. So some move back to the Philippines and retire. The lucky ones get to be elected into government positions, where Senators earn around 120 million pesos and Congressmen earn around 40 million pesos.
It’s all about lagay, a Filipino term loosely used to describe the activities of paying under the table to get what they want, like selling lands and avoiding government taxation instead of paying for paperwork costing around 30,000 pesos and being worth more than the value of a sold property! The business model works to their advantage on both sides. The profit are taken back to America and real property is bought with cold hard cash. Paying all sorts of taxes, of course, cannot be avoided.
But the point is that the Philippines has become the property of foreigners, mostly Asians of Chinese, Japanese and Korean descent. This is fine: For Filipinos are `looked-down` or `frowned-upon` and considered laborers, looking for any job that would put food on the table, even if it means to serve as maids, prostitutes and workers on the oil rigs of Nigeria and Saudi Arabia.
As you can see by now, corruption is rampant in the political arena worldwide. Congress in America has passed so many laws, which has been sponsoring Middle Eastern, as I would put it, TERRORISTS, by free hand-outs in the form of subsidies for education, automobiles and other properties that taxpayers are working hard to support.
I, say, all politicians and any legislation passed by Congress must be removed and revoked, respectively, including government funded organizations such as ACORN and other morally and ethically corrupt activities from money laundering, human trafficking, tax evasion, etc…
Overall, stop the status quo of funding corrupt government officials and its government contractors, Barry.

20090827-Lunch Joke
Yesterday, Brat decided to go bicycling for an hour from his work in north San Jose, CA to Fremont, CA and back. He came back to work all dripping wet, red hot in the face and smelly, of course, while carrying his ten year old bike inside his work place. A Thailand co-worker encounters him.
Thailand, a foreigner: So, did you go biking?
Americanized-Filipino: No, I went dancing!
In America, the `proper` scenario should have went something like this:
Thailand: Hey, Roger! How was the ride? You smell!
Filipino: Great! As you can see, I’m in need of a shower. Sorry.

20090821-Need Job
TPTB (i.e. Muslim sympathizes) continue to hold job market hostage via left-wing, liberal Democrats per Obama, the Marxist. They let the Lockerbie bomber loose; while I’m stuck with their credit card bills, so to speak.

20090819-Neat Job
Just viewed one of my Yahoo! email accounts and saw an email from HotJobs, which featured jobs with the CIA. I kinda like the idea of doing research and investigating. But I’m not smart and my GPA was not that high. Oh well.

20090815-Fishy Smell
Besides eating Maw’s home cooked Filipino fish dishes of tilapia, mackarel, pinaksiew, tinapas, bangus, etc., I’ve been taking a dietary supplement: 1,000 mg fish oil made from cold water, deep sea fish with Omega 3 by Leiner Health Products, which was bought earlier this year from our local drug store, CVS.
Eating anything fishy SMELLS. This means a person MUST take frequent showers because the fish oil makes its way to the pores of the skins and into the the air, right up the nostrils of sensitive olfactories. I know because I could smell the stuff on my person.
For example, Jane H. a former temporary worker from my former employer near Great America Theme Park in Santa Clara, CA, smelled like fish, EVERDAY! We Filipinos made fun among ourselves every time we work around that tall, Greek woman. The odor is overpowering!
So while trying to keep healthy has a price, makes sure the body odor is kept to a minimal. So this bottle of 100 softgel will expire in December 2009 and although I don’t wish to take this for my own good, I force myself whenever I remember, not religiously, though. It stinks!
