Trying theme Twenty Twenty-Five again

20250110-0019. Welp, I really liked the layout of my Twatter X from theme Messenger, which I am using with theme Twenty Twenty-Five again. But this time, I’m trying an apple-green colored Style. With theme Twenty Twenty-Five, I could always try eight other colors!

I won’t bother changing the Colors or Font sizes because it’s too much work. But I had to change the size from HUGE to SMALL for each of the five Topography Elements one-by-one: Text, Links, Headings, Captions and Buttons.

My prolific commenter shared how he uses themes no later than Twenty Twenty, which I tried and did NOT like; because I needed better controls with blocks instead of the OLD ways. I got VERY impatient “creating menus” from the Twenty Twenty theme and said: SCREW IT!

There’s no going/turning back. I’m too addicted to working with blocks.

    Hello Flynn, it is me again. I am commenting from the WordPress.com Reader again like last time. Because my comments from your blog itself are possibly not going through or possibly getting held for moderation or something, I am not sure. It is good that you gave Twenty Twenty a try, thanks. You are wise to embrace the current / future themes. Instead of being old school like me, I need to get embrace the future. I can say that Twenty Twenty Five is the first default WordPress theme since Twenty Twenty One that I can use for my needs. I briefly used it, but I missed the slightly more colorful Twenty Twenty with its better defaults, so I switched back for now. But I am sure that you will inspire me to switch to a new theme soon. I changed my background to black so that you could see how Twenty Twenty looks in that color scheme, but I will probably switch back to default soon. 😉

    Oh! Hi, John Jr! Yes, thanks for commenting and I was trying to get my blog to look like yours. But my brain got so used to the Gutenberg blocks that it’s difficult for an OLD timer such as myself to go back to the OLD school ways, which I do miss, just like you, but so far, it’s dark and black for me and I was surprised that you changed your background, which I liked also because the brighter colors tend to hurt my eyeballs. But your site is probably better back to the default, which I’m used to seeing. That’s all. Toodles!

      I came close to trying Twenty Twenty Five again, but I have to get in bed because I have work in a few hours. 😀
