20161027-1743-Hiss
Das Squirrel has sent me a text message. My prayers into the Cat God has been answered with an animated .gif showing laser eyes blasting the recruiters, clients, and complainers alike. All hail Cat God. May your hisses bring us comfort against joblessness, corruption, and injustice! Maybe, Cat God can scratch Trump so that his minions will bow down in fear and terror to us hard working, unemployed dogs!

20160701-New Eyeglasses

Pink Charmant Eyeglass Crane
Charnant XL2075 PK 51-17-135mm TITAN / parts – Excellence Tian
Line Art CE 135mm NO NICKEL ALLERGY Made in Japan On 7/20/16, I purchased my new eyeglasses with cash. On 7/30/16, I called the optical shop, inquired on the status of my order, and picked up my lightest, smallest eyewear ever!
The Crizal No-Glare lenses (Crizal.com, Made in Korea) is guaranteed for two years, while the frames are good for five years.
The lenses transition to shade! The bi-focals help me to see small prints! Plus, the frameless design looks like I don’t wear eyeglasses! Mom said to put on my eyeglasses when I first showed her. But she’s going blind, too, I guess. Sheesh.

Behold! I’ve repaired Mom’s purple-colored transport chair.
Below are my pics as proof of being a handy woman, repair person, and simple engineer.
I had to use the quick release racket of the hex nuts/books and a simple hammer to tap out the bearings!
I didn’t take a photo of the bent long nosed pliers, used to pull out the slack of cable wiring for braking system.
Unfortunately, I diameter of rear wheels was wider, and therefore the braking system were affected and no longer locks without manual handling.
While screwing the tension screw to the cable wiring of the braking system, I sustained a long scratch upon the back of my left hand, just below my left pinky.

Meet Mom’s Droids
Last Friday, Rodney, the respiratory therapist, visited our home, delivered the medical equipment, unpacked the medical supplies, and demonstrated how to use the oxygen therapy.
Now, Mom is faster in walking instead of dragging her feet. She’s able to breathe better and doesn’t experience much SOB (shortness of breath). Her reptilian, asthmatic voice is less harsh.

Cupping behind right knee with hairs
Cupping behind left knee with worse blood Behold! My first cupping session. The bad blood from bruising due to my recent fall on 11/22/15 is worse on my left knee. After my second acupuncture session, I feel great!
Mom got her second session first, followed by Dad’s first session, and then moi. Mom and I got some herbs for her digestive problems and for my bruising problems.
Bahaha! So once again, while ObamaCare has its limitation, we Asians seek alternative treatment. We plan to visit after this holiday season, next year.
I’m hungry now. Good day!

The Classic™ Iron by Black and Decker
Rowenta Autosteam Iron Behold! Long live the classic iron! The first iron my parents owned/used was similar in shape of shiny metal and blue trimmings with yellow button and rubbery cord sleeve! That’s what I recall! We had to buy a replacement iron due to countless drops on flooring and to non-functional steaming.
We went to Kohl’s and mediated away from shopping at Target and found my pride and joy art Fry’s! OMG! It’s like a retro, antique piece to keep! I loved it the first time I saw it displayed and we got the last box! This is our fourth iron with two plastic versions gone.
