This morning was normal. Dad reminded me today was Father’s Day and the first day of summer.

I forgot completely as I refuse to keep track of calendar events, which are informational overload for my brain.

At 1230 PM, I received a text message from my sister-in-law, who visited Dad.

At 1330 PM, she bought lunch for Dad.

At 1355 PM, I sent a text message, thanking her for visiting Dad – to which she replied with a “pink heart” emoji and in which I replied to her original text message with a pair of medium-brown “prayer hands”.

This day is sunny and mild with some cool breeze.

We are thankful for today’s blessings.
