20250514-0140. So I’m looking over my email on or about 20220528-1104. I could see the earliest reference to my OLD handle was indeed “thedailypauseblog” and or “thedailypause”.
Years later, I wanted to buy a domain with something “dailypause” dot com. But I saw somewhere the domain was already taken as “Your Daily Pause”, which could also have been “The Daily Pause”, which is different from “Your Daily Pause” currently and “TheDailyPauseBlog” back in 2022.
Once again, we’re just high-jacking each other’s stuff on technically. And I do NOT like that reality that we are all just “renting” domains, which is temporary, much like “renting” our paid-off cars. But because we all need to jump through wide opened hoops, such as registrations (for stickers) and other smog-tests, we really do NOT own our cars or domains.
Which brings me to our paid-off house: I told my elderly father that though we could move at anytime, we would need to find movers to haul our paid-off house to a new strip of dirt or land. I learned we are just “tenants” who are “renting” to stay like squatters on a plot subject to taxation.
So that’s why I just want to stop buying into these domain names, business plans and other upgrades. It’s NOT worth my time struggling over constant “window dressing” for a simple personal blog of mostly rants.
And besides, I saw a mysterious change to my Site’s Titles from “Your Daily Pause” to “Your Daily Paws”, despite my Header part displays clearly “Your Daily Pause”!
Once again The Daily Pause is really mine. So whosoever changed it better change it back. This used to be dailypause.wordpress.com and or thedailypauseblog.wordpress.com.
Technically, that “still” should be my copyrighted stuff via WordPress.com, which should have all my OLD past deleted records pointing to this little truth. So go figure this out pour moi! I won’t touch / override that “Site Title” yet. I’ll let y’all fight over it.
Yeah, I just saw that mysterious “change” a few seconds ago. If y’all want I could share my OLD wp customer id number just to stick it all up your arses.
