20250507-0945. I just discovered how to switch/toggle/Command and Tab between Full Screen and Desktop views! After all these years, this is how slow I’ve come to learn what is supposed to be basic knowledge! This is probably my current OS incarnation – slow, tarded or handicapped!
For my Full Screen mode, I have two windows opened. My left panel displays my five cameras. Three cameras are hard-wired and are Live 24/7; while two cameras are battery-powered and are idle mostly to save batter BUT are still recording (behind the scene)!
My right panel displays my main activities for browsing and blogging.
Unfortunately, these full screen mode has its limitations, much like our incarnated programmings. I can-NOT see the various tabs: I can’t tell if one browser window is opened or closed, active or inactive! (1013 AM PT: I just the top navigation menu to my web browser under “TAB”, where I could view my active tabs! Sheesh!)
Whenever I exited accidentally any opened browsers, I would have to exit all opened browser and then reset how I would like to have my panels displayed! Using the middle vertical slider, I would adjust my two opened panels with the left being the narrowest possible and the right being wider.
I could have one panel at least to four panels at most. But because I just need one panel/window on the left for the cameras and one panel/window on the right for my activities, I just use two panels/windows in Full Screen mode/view.
The ease of this two-version views is amazing! Should I ever need to switch/toggle/Command and Tab back to Desktop view, I could do so easily and then work on my Desktop view to archive and print – which is all I do mostly!
That’s all for now. End of transmission 1004 AM PT. Going forward, I’ll enter the time as hour minute day or night and Pacific Time. I keep confusing Daylight from Standard time! 1011 AM PT. Edited 1015 AM PT.
