20250512-0717. Greetings, chumps! This morning is cloudy and cold. I have awoken early, cleaned out my municipal tap water distiller, which always leaves a brownish burned residue stuck on the bottom, and tweaked my weblog site again.
I was inspired by the Apple+ News articles and how Headers for each article displays simply the Site Icon in the middle, the thumbs in the left and sharing and settings on in the right.
And because I was already disappointed with my designs, I removed “All Instances” of “where I want to display my templates” (“Set the conditions that determine where your template is used throughout your site. For example, choose ‘Entire Site’ to display the template across your site.”)
Voila! My current theme Hello Elementor was forced to display its default Header template, which is stacked vertically to include my “Site Title” (which has a hover-over attribute of “Home”), my “Site Tagline” and my customized menu (which I named as “Page List”).
Theme Hello Elementor allows only two locations for my customized menus. With the Header menu outta the way, the second customized menu is called “Social Media” and is located in the Footer template.
But because I already set “All Instances” to display my customized “Footer” template for my “Entire Site”, theme Hello Elementor was NOT allowed to over-ride my customized “Footer” template with its the default single line entry of my customized menu called “Social Media”.
So I’m happy with the bare-bones, html-only looking Header template and the default color palette links of default pink and blue hover-over for my weblog site, especially in the “Header” template.
For my customized menu called “Page List”, I had to click and drag everything underneath its dummy placeholders.
This task took a while, because the 66 KJV audio bible pages needed to be resorted alphabetically. This is for my convenience should I ever need to pull-up my bible while listening to the live streams by that Live show/Video guy.
For the Front-Cover, I arbitrarily-assigned in a particular order the following subpages: the WP Privacy Policy and the Elementor pages for Terms of Use, About, Contact and Features.
For the Elementor page called “Home”, I dumped alphabetically my clones / duplicates / mirrors in alphabetical order: blog, blog-home, blog-posts, blogs, latest-posts, post, posts, and read-more.
Once again, I have been testing and trying the various features on my weblog site with clutter / redundant / useless stuff, such as my static pages, which garner little to NO views or visits.
For the Projects page menu item, I dumped my three former sites pages from FlynnAngels.com, 360.yahoo.com, and blogger.com.
To date, I guess the Happiness Engineers failed to find out why the Table of Contents block refuses to jump-pages using the Table of Contents block from the iPhone setup.
Lastly, I let my former site page from KingJamesBibleVerses.com have its top-level place with its subpages of 66 KJV audio bible for reading and listening at the same time!
Once again, I was trying to force a design, especially in the Header template, that is meant for businesses and NOT for individual personal weblog sites like mine.
That’s all for now. I’ll brew my dark roast 100% Robusto whole bean coffee, which I couldn’t consume for the past couple of days due to being busy with various duties and tasks!
