20250511-0205. After I queried LEO AI Brave for the cleanest and quickest WP theme, I narrowed down my choice back to theme Hello! I liked the pink color against light background and the sans-serif fonts are normal and easy on the eyeballs.
I had to go through all of my pages and set each “Align” element from either Full-Width or Wide-Width (Max 1200px wide) back to None (Max 800px wide) because the Full-Width went beyond the margins of visibility. Adjusting the left and right Paddings did NOT help.
And I didn’t like the extra “indented” gap in between the Wide-Width to the left and the None width when I tried a “staggered” pattern in which all the affected Details blocks were set originally as Full-Width and while its “contents” were set to Wide-Width (Max 1200px wide).
And so I had to set all the affected Details block and its Contents to None width! This is because theme Hello handles these elements VERY well and enough so that the margins and paddings were set in such as way that the display of my “content”, well, was VERY clean!
So with the “pages” knocked outta the way. I then tackled the “posts”, which I set to display the three most recent blog entries. And after I clicked and sampled a few of my OLD posts, I noticed that the comments needed its other missing companions: share and like!
Thank goodness I have my paid Jetpack Boost upgrade whatever! From my left sidebar “Dashboard” > Tools > Marketing > Sharing Buttons (tab), I checked all boxes to “Show like and sharing buttons on” “Posts”, “Pages” and “Media”, except “Front Page, Archives Page, and Search Results”.
Then for the button style, I selected Icon & Text instead of Icon Only, Text Only, and Official Buttons. I edited the sharing buttons by selecting all possible buttons. I did NOT “Add “More” button to “be shown in a dropdown under the “More” button.” Because I wanted the viewers with eyeball problems to see easily the text and the icons, instead of taking the extra steps of clicking around the drop-down menu items.
And of course I would “save changes” each time.
So that’s it for now. I like the bare-bones display of pink color against white background of my weblog site. The ability to add more to the footer and header is limited to paid upgrades.
I activated the theme Hello Elementor plug-in but everything was a mess from my previously “saved” versions and I did NOT have the patience to readjust everything!
So I deactivated and then deleted the plug-in. Maybe I might try again. But I’m just okay with this current version.
So I’ll have to just let this one go for now and figure out what to do next.
