20250211-0130. Welp, I’ve knocked down a fifth book: Ruth. I was having difficulty cloning matching/mirroring all the settings that I had to take down notes for the remaining 61 outta 66 books to finish each book faster!
I’ve learned that in order for the internal jump-link within the pages to work for mobile view, the Details block/widget had to remain “Open by default”.
The desktop view works either way and upon clicking an internal link for a verse and/or title header, the Details block/widget would open up the chapter and point to the verse and/or title header selected.
I liked how I could collapse a bible chapter and open up only one chapter at a time. I just like shorter pages. That’s all.
The booger was the Sticky position for the left column: the drop-down feature Navigation menu was TOO long due to the many verses to one chapter.
And while I had one chapter opened, the bottom verses were cut off especially if the chapter AND page itself was too short.
Scrolling upward won’t help because scrolling would stop while the bottom verses from the drop-down Navigation menu were cut off.
The page itself must be longer than the chapter with longest number of verses.
That’s all for now. End of status report 0143 PST.
P.S. Also, I kept my Top Arrow jump link for each chapter; because there is no way for the Sticky Position to work in a Header. In other words, whenever I use the jump link for a verse and/or Title Header, the results always stay closest to the top AND behind the sticky elements, thus blocking the view of the top-most internal link results!
