Flynn's Paws: My Thoughts, My Gripes

Unbelievable! Not only is the Obamacare messing up and the HealthCare.gov website still messed up; but Covered California has failed me! I have until December 7, 2013 to submit “Proof of Income” to my local county.

I called several times and could NOT get through to the damn GOVERNMENT! I placed calls on 11/26/2013 at 1429 and 1431 for 32 seconds and 7 minutes and 05 seconds, respectively; on 11/29/2013 at 1028 for 56 seconds; and today at 0939 and 0956 for 15 minutes and 20 seconds and 08 minutes and 36 seconds, respectively.

I had questions regarding my eligibility because TPTB and pals “found” me another job to “help” pay for some “nom-noms” this holiday season. Again, The total days worked in the year 2013 include three days last week and possibly for eight days this month. Wow.

The county mailed me a form for the employer to fill out an area when I was “terminated”. Oh, for heaven sakes! It’s a temporary/job placement agency! Gigs like these don’t come very often!

So, WTF do y’all want me to do? Sign up for Medi-Cal or not? Or shall I pay the IRS a penalty of $95 the first year in 2014 instead or not? Either way, income is very low and I don’t really believe in the healthcare insurance business.
