Yesterday, Maw went to her doctor’s appointment. The primary care physician seemed to be in a hurry and didn’t listen to her lungs, which was noisy. Instead he checked for her blood pressure only. Any friggin’ moron can do this simple vital at home!
Anyway, this symbolizes yet another sign for the worse that the health care is not what it used to be – caring for the patients. Since Maw is getting forgetful, she forgot to report her respiratory distress, which almost always leads to respiratory infection.
So, today, she had to call that damn office and Michelle helped to inform the doctor of the situation. He merely had to prescribe either antibiotics or the usual last resort. But for whatever reason, he failed to make sure his patient left the office in good hands that day.
But Paw and I picked up the medicine after this noontime from CVS, which does a great job in processing prescription refills.
Here is my point: Another thought came to my simple mind this morning or perhaps last evening or so ago. It’s been bugging me for awhile. I know why certain job professions exists: It’s because the government helps pay for the services and/or products! Logically, without Medicare or Medicaid, the doctors wouldn’t be, shall I say, OVER-BILLING, the government, just to stay afloat and/or take advantage of the system?
I believe Obama’s health care insurance reform bill is supposed to cap on these `profitable` practices. And the inclusion of the `student loans` just does that: Allow the government-sponsored assets to graduate and work in rural areas.
That’s how it should be: learn to work hard among the poor and underprivileged, feel humble knowing they did as they were told by the government and after these assets `repay` their government-sponsored student loans, they get to practice WTF they want elsewhere.
I’m sorry. But sometimes people don’t get it. If doctors want to keep their oath to take care of the living, they should do so without being jerks. I mean they are paid professionals to hear the complaints of their patients and shouldn’t have to drug up these unless bottom-feeders like guinea pigs.
It’s such as shame that the TPTB cannot find even find a cure for the common cold. Right there, the whole health care system is a scam.
