[Flynn’s editorial: I am in support with Mayor Chuck Reed of San Jose to ban plastic bags. Why? There are lots of Asian restaurants. Most people in San Jose, CA are too busy (or lazy for that matter) to cook anyway!
And so with the increase of hungry people ordering take-outs to feed their families and themselves, that means more plastic bags to hold foods, which should be prepared at home by women and with tender loving care, too!
I’m surprised that more uncaring people can NOT feed their family healthy food and at the same time control the ingredients by removing excess fats and oil and avoiding unnatural ingredients, like additives, food color and food enhancers.
I can envision an increase in businesses producing recyclable bags and in employers offering jobs for more graphic designers, too! We already have a Longs Drug store bag and a DeCA commissary bags, by the way.]
