Tuesday, 10/17/2006 was my mini-vacation or break from work. Yesterday, I had completed about half of Monday’s monster lockbox work, which is normal since this does include the weekend mail. I was pissed for doing all those credit card charges manually (by hand); one-by-one and all by myself because noone else knew how to do this area of my job.
I awoke early in the morning around my usual time to read my articles online; cram some Vietnamese soup (or pho) into my guts as my breakfast; went back to sleep and then got out of bed around noontime because it was time to eat lunch.
We three decided to go shopping at the Commissary and buy about 24.00US notes worth of grocery, which included chocolate soy milk, whole organic milk, 2% fat free milk; bag of oranges; bag of apples and three containers of fresh blueberries. These filled two grocery bags.
We went home and unloaded the grocery and headed out to the mall where we walked around once. Unfortunately, we had to stop and grab another snack of French fries, chicken nuggets (with BBQ sauce), spaghetti with two big meatballs in watery tomato sauce , and fresh water to wash the food stuff down.
By the time we went home I guess I was too tired to do anything but read more articles online and rest some more, which I did until someone hollered from downstairs that it was time to eat dinner. My stomach was quite full and my belly was quite round from four courses of meal that day.
I continued to think good thoughts but the previous night was the better day because of my counterclockwise feeling in about the front of my chest during a lucid dream. The sky was very clear and blue and crispy clean to me, at least. The day went well and I continue to struggle with being nice to myself for once.
