Habeas corpus: (Law.) A writ requiring a person to be brought before a judge or court, esp. for investigation of a restraint of the person’s liberty, used as a protection against illegal imprisonment.
Ahhh! The aliens are coming! Run for your lives! When I use the word ‘aliens’ in my blogs, I am not referring to illegal aliens crossing our borders or not being hard working Americanized citizens but to non-human entities who live among us and look like any ordinary humans. ‘Idioms’!
Today, Tuesday, October 17, 2006, our ‘elected’ leader has signed this bill on ‘tear-roar’ prosecution. This means anyone suspected by the ‘President’ of being an ‘alien’ and an unlawful enemy combatant would be tried without invoking rights under the Geneva Conventions and possibly tortured with harsh interrogation, imprisoned for life or ‘killed’ via the guillotine, for example.
Could this possibly mean our ‘alien’ friends would be singled out as those who may be a threat to us Americanized slave units? Could this mean that the same friends (or co-belligerents) of these ‘aliens’ may also be considered hostile enemies too? Holy cow! This bill may require further clarification.
My concern is the word ‘alien’ contained in this bill. My feeling indicates that the ‘tear-roars’ have been and may be ‘alien’ in nature all along! The usage of the word ‘alien’ is unfortunate because there are some ‘aliens’ who are not provoking and are quite helpful. However, there are reports that some ‘aliens’ are aggressive and quite nasty.
Okay, for example, if you had co-workers who are ‘aliens’ and they have jobs to do that seem wrong or against their free-will and these same hard working ‘aliens’ decide not to continue with their jobs, would they be considered a threat for not protecting the Americanized citizens? This would not be fair and I saw how nervous C. Rice seemed when she spoke to the public recently.
Sure, the signed bill may save Americanized lives by eliminating some in-alienable rights guaranteed under U.S. laws. But at the same time, this bill seems to give the commissions and tribunals more power to do harm – intentional or not – with their trigger fingers by pointing blame at innocent people, who may be declared as ‘aliens.’
So what are we really up against this time? Are we really fighting a war for our lives or against some unknown forces labeled as ‘aliens?’ Has any amount of secrecy or ‘folly’ not been made public for our protection? Or are we beginning to realize that these advanced ‘aliens’ (with their advanced technologies) have decided to turn the tables of bad deals made many years ago towards their favor?
Once again, anything done behind closed doors will need to be open for fresh air and for public scrutiny. Who knows? Maybe there may yet be a stupid law requiring the making of smelly poop with both the door and windows closed on one’s private property a crime punishable by chopping one’s head off with a guillotine. And who needs habeus corpus to bring about justice for this fluffy but facetious example?
P.S. I suppose since we no longer seem to have any rights left, we need to behave like robots or slave units as I mentioned in my previous blogs if we wish to keep our heads on. Now get back to work! Chop! Chop!
