If only you could hear my voice:
- speak of ill-will, you’d cringe;
- sing of blaphemy, you’d shrink;
- scream of conspiracy, you’d sulk.
But if you would listen well to:
- squeals of joy, you’d leap;
- shrieks of surprise, you’d jump;
- sounds of love; you’d run.
Then you’d know how different we are
if only divided by how we say:
“Hello” and “Peace”.
