20250421-1940. This morning I awoke. But for some reason and in these past few days, I’m feeling okay but barely alert – more like foggy-brained from eating deli food, which I love.
Then I unboxed yesterday’s home delivery of Butterfly and Hummingbird Wildflower Mix by Earth Science. I used up the whole bag to add into the two planter strip area at the base of both our Saratoga Laurel trees.
While working on the larger of the two trees, a military-looking copter kept flying more northbound from where I’m located. I turned-on the Airplane mode of my iPhone and continued spreading some seeds and watering down with the OLD plastic water contain with its missing white watering spout later on.
A couple of elderly Oriental walked-by. The wife asked what I was plant. I fumbled and barely said: wildflowers for the bees and hummingbirds.
I still could hear the copter trying to worm its ways southbound from my location and worked on the smaller tree, which has triple the size of soil. For whatever reason, the City of San José wanted the opening to be larger. But the tree trunk is still smaller that the other one.
This is because my dad top-killed main branches long ago on the premise that it would be more convenient for me when I get older. Idiot NPCs. The the top is still sprouting with smaller branches.
I caught and met Manong James (half Italiano and half Ilocano/Filipino earlier this month chopping off branches of the Saratoga Laurel trees. Because he was gonna make soup from the leaves, which did NOT smell fragrant enough for me or cooking in the least.
I guess my “thoughts” were transmitted and some could hear my “thoughts” and so “offered” to trim our trees. I wanted the NO PARKING ANYTIME sign more visible. But the larger tree was block the sign.
The afternoon was weird as my younger brother need a ride back to GearMasters off Keyes Street in downtown San Jose, CA. The guys installed some computer chips that was to be done in an hour.
But the hour had passed and my brother said he would do it himself. Surprisingly, their good business practice allowed it to be done for free. They are blessed in my books.
The evening is winding down with the sunset being VERY bright. After my afternoon power nap, I saw that one fat birb red robin was taking a bath in the bird bath. But I did NOT see the normal splashing of the water, meaning that the water is NOT full enough.
So I had to wait until the fat birb red robin finished its bath and I quietly and hurriedly flushed out the birdbath and watered the backyard lawn, which still has patches of dried grass.
Then I saw the fat birb red robin was a male because its counterpart wifey was smaller and brown! That was also a blessing.
Yesterday was also a blessing after my dad and brother apologized unto moi for different reasons. Sheesh. Thanks, heavenly Father!
It’s time for dinner as my elderly father kept making his hungry triple tweet/eat. End transmission 1955 PST.
