Flynn's Paws: My Thoughts, My Gripes

Oh! Haha! The laughs on me! At 12:42am, I discovered something else “spiffy” with the new Theme: Twenty Eleven | Blog at WordPress.com. There’s a time-date stamp for both index and post pages!

Why are you doing this to me and keeping mysteries unsolved until readers find out the HARD WAY? Should I assume that OLDER WordPress.com themes come with this feature? (Gosh darn-it! I see it on SOME themes!)

How did I find out? I noticed the words “Posted on [pubdate]“. When I placed my mouse over the link of “publication date”, I saw the “title” element reflect the “time” element when the post was first published!

So, I guess I’ll keep this theme. When I tried to copy and paste a “backup” of my precious posts and/or pages unto a word document (and not a “notepad”), the “entry meta” showing the “datetime” stamp (in particular) was intact.

Now I have to decide: do I want to keep Twenty-Eleven (or Twenty-Ten) or go with an OLD theme that displays my “datetime” stamp as visibale text? Hmm.
