Topic # 7 – Prompted January 25, 2009: Pick a wild animal to keep as a pet. Describe life with your new pet. Think about its impact on your lifestyle, relationships and rug.

I don’t think I could keep a wild animal as a pet. I wouldn’t know where to begin. If I were to keep a pet from the wild, that would be something small and cute. I’ve had birds all my life and so maybe a wild bird would do.

Would keeping creatures of flight indoors be required during the day? Not in the least. I envision feeding the critter wild seed and refill the bird bath with water. It will continue as wild but only in my mind will I see it as a pet, which keeps coming back to eat and drink.

Perhaps, I’d like to tame a wild bronco. And then learn to ride a horse, one day.
