Yesterday at around 5:03pm, we finished packing three Balikbayan boxes — two (23x20x17) by Weyerheauser and one (23×17.5×20) by International Paper. Today at around 4:08pm, we finished packing three more Balikabay boxes (18x10x8) by Uline.
We used packing and strapping tapes from the Home Depot.
Then I sent an FB message to my first cousin, the recipient of these six boxes. Most of the contents is supposed to be for her and her mother, the stroke victim, who is the youngest and last sibling of Maw. Depending on how “honest” the fat blob, she could distribute the rest accordingly to my other maternal relatives.
Packing boxes was fun and done quickly by mostly moi because my elderly parents are getting on with age. Paw helped but mostly stared and used his strength to help close the lid of the overfilled boxes. Maw hawked her usual commands to suit her way. I pissed off in jerking motion but had to hold my tongue to avoid heated arguments and potential heart attacks during the excitement.
I didn’t hurt except the corns on the bottom of my feet. My back was stable enough to bend over a little bit. I kept contracting my tummy tightly as if I were wearing a belt. That’s to make sure my back doesn’t give out during the activity.
Yesterday’s popping session was green and loose from the iron-colored supplement tablet and laxative the night before that day. Today was better except for my monthly cramps, which can be controlled by not eating lots of salt prior to the week of this onset of nature.
I feel good knowing that the guilty part of me has passed. I feel good knowing that I’ve done the best I could without bragging rights. Despite disagreeable people who cannot see it my way, I’ve learned to go with the flow and let the more logistical minds think while Paw and I muscle into the work.
Teamwork is far more efficient to get the job done. And now I’m relaxed enough to blog to share that I’ve sneaked in some orgone pieces from Shrimpsei — the mini-pyramids of blue color. Some of these goodies have the website on the bottom. Hopefully, my maternal relatives get curious and think more about improving their environment.
