For two hours, Maw and I got our hairs done. My hair is short and colored to `violet`. The color of my hair still looks dark but under the sun it looks burgundy. Maw’s hair was permed, colored and cut. The price was $45 and $70 respectively with $5 tip per hair stylist.

When going to the salon, one must be PRECISE on what they want. So I wanted:

  • the back of my hair `flatter`;
  • the sides trimmed shorter but just covering the tops of my ears;
  • the top longer; and
  • blend the two lengths together.
  • I asked for hair color and she brought out the swatches of colors. I chose the violet over the red.
