“Language evolves. The meaning of a word can shift over time as we use it differently — think of “cool,” “heavy,” or even “literally.”

Today, give a word an evolutionary push: give a common word a new meaning, explain it to us, and use it in the title of your post.”

Aargh! Archaic. The sound of a disgusted pirate. The letter “r” is silent. Now meant as a sign of approval in a surprising way.

Let’s use it in a sentence: Aargh! Sorry about the late response. Of course you can join us at 5 PM on Saturdays! See you tomorrow at 4:30 PM. 🙂
