20221031-2207. Lo and behold! With the Gutenberg blocks, I built and finalized a rather eerily similar layout modeled after the Twitter.
When blogging over the many slong years, I always wanted that “one-column” look and feel like Twitter. But my blogging mobile app still has too much clutter compared to when I needed to Twit quickly, like immediately after our recent earthquake, which the new fearless leader EM posted something to the effect that NYT can change history, like what happened to USGS changing the source of our recent earthquake from Seven Trees to Alum Rock, AFTER I whined and complained online to this fact. See? I’m watching y’all. Hah!
I have three columns, too: Left with icons linking to social media stuff; Middle with Home as post_title, followed by your favorite post_author, and then the Blog Posts block showing only the three most recent or latest posts along with the author, avatar and date; and Right with search bar, latest WordPress stuff, and blogroll links to “specially-gifted” folks who know stuff, too.
Yeah, I’m happy with the Dark theme and three-columns. I had to stick the footer way on the bottom, which (like I said) is supposed to be modeled after the sos.ca.gov official website.
I wanted a Jump to Top button (which is similar to Page Jump that I used for the 66 long-read KJV books). So I created my own “arrow up” button image on my Photoshop 2023, but realized that the jumping feature from the sos.ca.gov official website is scripted stuff that “floats” on the page and disappears upon completion! That’s too much for my big brain but I’m thinking how to “fast scroll” through these LONG-READ pages! There’s gotta be a way! Hmm.
That’s all. FlynnsPaws.
Hello Flynn, nice, and good luck!
