Well, there is that word ‘inventory’.
One day we needed to buy a lightbulb or more. And down the aisle of THD was an Asian guy. He talked too much about how he knows why certain inventories are placed on the bottom – because they are cheap. But by looking at the packaging in the middle and comparing prices, they seemed the same to me. We didn’t understand where this was going. He handed us the smaller package of two light bulbs instead of getting the discounted package of four light bulbs.
From what I gander, the business guys make their moneys from ‘inventory’ – how much they can import and export. And while consumer prices appear to be discounted or on sale, I think getting a few items at a time can paralyze the businesses. Or better yet, we should NOT buy their crap, so they can scrap the leftovers and write-off the stuff, and still make a profit.
So yeah, war is a racket and it’s all about making stuff for nothing – all at the expense of the end users – their lives for one thing, and pricing them out as another. Yeah so the batches of soldiers are considered assets – here is one batch of troops – price it. (20181112-2316. I haven’t read through the long-headed article but that was the word and my thoughts that followed.)
20181112-2321-addendum thought. While having the munchies of bread and butter, the word ‘racketeering’ appeared into my small mind. Racketeers are making wars! So I expect these racketeers to stop making wars, including nuclear wars. Freaking leeways!
