In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Middle Seat | It turns out that your neighbor on the plane/bus/train (or the person sitting at the next table at the coffee shop) is a very, very chatty tourist. Do you try to switch seats, go for a non-committal brief small talk, or make this person your new best friend?.”
Good Flynn: That depends. I used to NOT tolerate loud noises and bright lights. Nowadays I don’t care to make friends or chat with a chatty person. I’m a quiet person and relish the quietness. But solitude is a different matter and is nothing, thanks to the internet where I have access to illusions to keep me busy. So I’d find another spot if there is space available.
Evil Kitty: We love our own space. If we encounter each other, first we sniff each other and if the other one is nice, we go our separate ways. Otherwise, we felines would scratch and hiss and maybe fight. We prefer our solitude, but allow our humanz to rub our tummies when they aren’t chatty,.
