So I’m walking outdoors during my late mid-afternoon break. Usually the mailroom holds the incoming mail containing our live checks until late Monday afternoons

The live checks didn’t get scanned until after the electrical power was restored art 1322 pm. That is a double digit synchronous event again, folks!

The cash receipt batches didn’t get released until 1530 pm. I managed to get those pressure-sealed checks from Monday and today’s incoming mail of live checks prepped for tomorrow’s deposit.

The old temp woman worked on credit card batches and those application for credits, which I don’t know/never handled.

After the restoration of the power at 1322, four main guys were hovering between the desks of the CEO secretary, I guess, and “that guy”.

The owner, the CEO, the IT and facilities guys. The electrical extension cords are still blocking my aisle. That’s a workplace hazard, eh?

I’m taking more break time because they owe me. I may need payment in the form of donuts. Yummy.

Yeah, the calls slowed down, the emails are normal, but my area is always busy. I’ll head on back around 1600.
