To my headhunters,
There’s another reason why I don’t want to stay at this temp job from hell. That guy still has something in his head about me.
Although he has stopped calling me woman, girl, or lady and called me by my proper first name, I can’t work in the same department with him.
Yesterday, he called me properly. Around 1630, we both clocked out at the same time. He came to my desk and inquired what time I came/will come in to work. I told him I forgot. He then stretched out his arms and left. Ugh.
I’ve been emailing my “good morning” greetings to the returning boss via email daily. This is to validate my timecard per the temporary accounting manager. So I don’t need to answer his question.
The human resource girl told me not to discuss anything else to others than her alone. She said when she was a contracted worker she let the client’s HR know, not her headhunter. I’m confused.
For example, at my real job over ten years ago, there was a Filipino woman of Cavite dialect. Her butt was HUGE like her German ancestry from the grandfather’s side.
Anyway, a Southeastern Asian man was interested in her. He worked on the other half of the twelfth story building, which has been vacant for awhile since the market downturn around 2008.
One day, he came over to assist in our department. I was very close to him at arms length. I saw in his eyes, something very determined as he looked in the direction of Leoni (feminine name for her grandfather).
She was/walked far away from him. He was of short stature, shorter than both Leoni and me! He wouldn’t blink as he kept his gaze on her the whole time.
The HR native woman at this temp job from hell instructed me to report anymore incidences and to let her know if I’m uncomfortable to be around that guy. But I’m not, just annoyed.
