We came home from morning mass at around 0900 AM. Maw told us that she almost died at the care of the military hospital located in Moffett Filed, CA. The incident occurred in the early eighties.
En route to the “dispensary”, a place where military personnel and their dependents get medication, Maw experienced severe cramps in her fingers. She drove herself from work to this place. Upon arrival, she asked for a wheelchair. The emergency personnel administered care immediately and fed her an IV of potassium at full-blast. The liquid burned.
Anyway, since they lacked “special care”, they transported her to a nearby hospital, which has been improved recently. The physician who took over her care was her former cardiologist for over ten years. The silver-haired/bearded Italian is/was director of cardiology for that hospital.
So to make a long story short, Obamacare won’t work, period. The military has not done too well either. So any business that depends on government funding won’t help the people.
