Yesterday, the boy came over for lunch and brought over Ornacyn-Plus Powder (Contains essential vitamins and amino acids) from a friend who worked in a pet shop full of birds up in Manteca.
We had a small medicine cup and measured out eight fluid ounce and one powder pack and place the concoction in a disinfected glass jar.
Pimon is doing well in his smaller cage, which is much warmer when placed higher on top of the main cage containing six of his parakeet friends.
He is still easily startled by large objects, like STICK and doesn’t seem to be drinking the yellow liquid. But the boy said he will eventually need to drink water and find the container.
