Lou Dobbs resigns from CNN
The outspoken newsman says he has been urged ‘to go beyond my role here.’ Is politics in his future?

Reporting from New York – In a surprise announcement, CNN host Lou Dobbs resigned on the air Wednesday after a recent history of controversial comments on immigration, among other topics, drew heated protests from liberal groups and created friction within the cable network.
Dobbs said that CNN/U.S. President Jon Klein released him from his contract so he could pursue other opportunities. He did not offer specifics but suggested that he is seeking a role in which he will not be constrained from speaking freely.
[Flynn’s rant: On Friday, June 22, 2007, someone else resigned from a big company here at Santa Clara, CA. Why? It’s not from threats from outside forces (such as Lou’s house being shot at by thugs) but forces by TPTB, the same ones who can ruin lives, like moi! Unlike moi, Lou can say what he wants and still be heard. And he still can make money; while I’m stuck with the bankster’s bills!
Further, leaving the job (resigning, being fired or getting laid-off) is all about being free from the mess created by the employers, who only protect themselves in the end. I know this is true: I’ve seen things that do NOT benefit the consumers of products and services or in the case of Lou the listeners, who starve for the truth about illegal immigrants sucking up benefits paid for by hard-working, American tax-payers, bottom-line!]
