A good sized chunk of eucalyptus tree fell right across my stretch of road, blocking the northbound direction. I see vehicles trying to avoid the tree and end up veering to oncoming traffic. So I called:

Street Hazards
If you would like to report an immediate street hazard (such as a fallen tree or street sign), call the immediate hazard number at (408) 277-4373.

But they were closed. The voice-mail instructed calling (408) 277-8956. And the operator said that they would clear up the scene within two hours.

The weather has been rainy, gloomy. And the wind picked up a bit, blowing every which way.
