In recent news,
Was the Associated Press transcription of Obama’s CBC speech ‘racist’?

“Take off your bedroom slippers. Put on your marching shoes,” he said, his voice rising as applause and cheers mounted. “Shake it off. Stop complainin’. Stop grumblin’. Stop cryin’. We are going to press on. We have work to do.”
He might have meant for the welfare recipients to “wake up” and NOT take to the streets with your pitchforks and torches or march like Getaspos. I’m sure he didn’t mean to instigate violence or fighting back.
Come on! Not all black people (or other groups) are to be treated as stupid people who complain, grumble and cry. “People who believe Obama are stupid. Only stupid (i.e. black) people would/be fight/ing for ANY cause, even if they are WRONG!. ~Said the wise woman.
When I heard the phrase “press on” repeated many times, I thought he meant “WordPress.com”. Hehehe. He meant to stop being free loaders to the systems and get to work to fix things the legal way and towards the correct path.
