20250218-1841. So last night, I created a page called Portfolios. I already created a page called Testimonials.
Each content type appears under /portfolios and /testimonials.
This was made possible by going to the Dashboard > Writing and checking the boxes to “Enable Portfolio Projects for this site” and to “Enable Testimonials for this site”.
Then within each page, I inserted the QueryLoop block and set the Post Type to either Project or Testimonial and the Order Type typically from Newest to Oldest and to Display Items per page from to at least three to typically ten for SEO sake. Voila!
Should I really pursue creating and designing, I could actually post more under these two Custom Content Types, instead of the the usual Post Type of either Post and Page.
So I have six test “projects” that I copied/pasted from my regular Pages and into the “Add New Project” (six times, of course) and five text “testimonials that I also copied/pasted from one of my regular Pages and into the “Add New Testimonial” (five times, of course).
I placed almost of all my external and internal links in the Footer. So this is where I placed the Portfolios page link and Testimonials page link. Voila!
That’s all. End of status report 1859 PST.
