With globalization looming upon us, there is no such thing as “copyright infringement” or “intellectual property”. I would like to emphasize that the knowledge should be shared for society as a whole and not given credit to one or two individuals.
Sooner or later such technological advancement will be made common for the common people, who are creative enough to figure out, though not exactly to specifications, how make an objective work. People as a whole should be given credit for coming up with various ways to make a living and make living easier, convenient and more fun, too.
Basically, politics need to make sure not to stifle innovation. If given a chance, I’m sure we’d all have hover crafts to get around more efficiently. And China needs to focus on cleaning up its environment and taking care of its people and NOT worry about who was first to come up with what has been really ancient secrets.
I was going to enter my thought in yesterday’s OPEN forum discussion board about this topic but here it is in my weblog.
