What is one big warning sign you’re in the presence of bad company?
Actually, since I’ve been a recluse for most my life, I don’t know any company that is bad because I can’t tell/discern if the person is good, bad, or fugly! Seriously and as a matter of fact, most of my encounters are that of “sinners”. So while they pose no real threat or immediate danger, they are somewhat a “curiosity” if not downright annoying sometimes.
Okay, for the sake of this exercise and from the perspective of a newbie of all sorts, here are my first impressions.
1. Doesn’t take “no” for an answer and actually hounds the person into reconsidering an action taken as not to their best interest at heart.
2. Doesn’t listen to others for valid answers but continues to insists that a version from a personal perspective is above all others.
3. Doesn’t understand the needs and wants of others. I think this is the same as number two above but more like the lack of reciprocation.
Okay, I’m done with these “thoughts”. If I discover more, I might add those as “Comments” to this blog post entry.
