I love Chow Mein. I love this noodle dish served either wet or dry. I could eat it plain or with vegetable and protein ingredients. The best part about eating food is with others.
Prior to leaving for this morning’s mass, Maw asked:
“Who wrote Obama’s health insurance reform bill?”
She wanted to bring those people to justice for taking away social benefits and taxation of health insurance plans.
I mentioned under my breath:
“It was my idea.”
In retrospect, I realize that not all people deserve or want medical intervention. Some would rather seek alternative health solutions and “go natural”. Some would rather spend their hard-earned pennies towards other goods and services. Some are so poor that they only have enough money for food.
Like noodles, I wanted everyone to benefit and sincerely felt that a universal deal would have been the answer. It didn’t matter who paid the bills. People should not have to suffer an agonizing health problem and should be able to get the best medical treatment available.
