Yeah so on 09/30/2019, I wanted to manually enter our mileage for a discount on our auto insurance for both vehicles and recorded the numbers on my smartphone notes app. Usually the odometer readings are reported prior to renewals.
So I logged into our online account and noticed that there was no place to update the mileages. I had to check online because I noticed that the courtesy reminders have stopped.
Lo and behold, it says that ‘You do NOT currently have any vehicles enrolled in Drive Safe & Save.’ Bully bad crap. Bully boo boo!
And so I downloaded the mobile app to be sure I wasn’t seeing anything incorrect that I couldn’t locate on the regular full website.
The discount works as long as the Bluetooth beacon and location service of the mobile app are turned on at ALL times during road trips!
Then they calculate your discounts based on factors, such as annual mileage, braking, speed, time of day travel, acceleration, and fast cornering.
This stuff works for the payroll department of construction companies, especially when trying to collect the correct mileage, food, gas and whatever from the drivers.
This is yet another attempt to keep the damn humanz honest who are frankly NOT entirely trustworthy to say the least. However, this would be a good reward incentive to track, monitor and/or record the private activities of dissidents wherever and whenever they go.
Yup.
