Earlier this month, we cleaned out and disconnected the freezer in the garage. On the day of Mom’s passing, my uncle Rudy and his wife Conchita waited for us to arrive home late at night. Before they left within the hour, Dad unloaded almost all the meat from the freezer in the garage.
Today, Dad cleaned out the remaining frozen meant and is boiling the meat for our meals. Dad refuses to go grocery shopping with Das Squirrel and his Twit Wifey. Both of them invited us to go out to dinner tonight and maybe lunch tomorrow. But Dad is refusing. I don’t want to go out with them either after they bailed out on us since the beginning.
We will eat whatever is left over in the refrigerator, freezer, and pantry. Everything else is inanimate, parakeets, or plants in our property.
