Dear diary,
I’m blogging via my new smartphone using the keyboard for left hand only! Then again I switched it back to none, meaning NOT one-handed typing. Sheesh.
I already missed the old QWERTY keyboard because of my thick blogging thumbs. So far this new keyboard is responsive enough to know what words I would like to type next.
I got this new smartphone because I qualified for an upgrade. But I would have to swap the old phone by mailing it separately.
I also got it because it is supposed to be more secure. I found that my old phone would not upgrade to the latest stuff. And that freaked me out!
So we visited Mom later because Dad harvested seven HUGE tomatoes, thirteen fat light green peppers, and only six green beans. Dad wanted me to take pictures of his harvest and I did and shared the photos with Mom.
Dad also watered the plants out front and back. Later he had his long toilet sessions. I was relaxed doing my own activities, balancing the books, clearing emails, and cleaning up the parakeets.
Then almost to two o’clock, we got lunch, walked around the park which usually takes about 30 minutes, and took off to pick up my new smartphone at the local FedEx Shipping Center, which held my package hostage in the “vacation hold” which I placed yesterday and prior to changing my mind to pick up the crap this morning by I calling in the request.
Then we headed back to Mom who was already passed out from another procedure to help her breathe. I was busy transferring stuff from my old phone to the new phone in less than one minute. The rest was a matter of logging back into each app.
Then at 8:30 pm we had to excuse ourselves after I spoon fed Mom her three physical therapy foodstuff, the consistency thickness of honey for ease of swallowing. Besides PT and OT, one of the nurses ordered an ST, or speech therapy for an evaluation.
I think the idiots ran her BP too high, causing a TIA. I guess y’all wanted me to have a break. But that would mean probably submitting her to a nursing home so I could work Full Time!!!
Anyway we got lost inside the upgraded mall and I bought my Lemonade colored silicone case and glass screen protector. Together the purchase was near one hundred bucks. The yellow is in memory of YEYO, the beloved Lutino parakeet.
The map app in nighttime mode was REALLY clear. She sounded like the Google lady, only the repetitiveness of directions was much better than the other smartphone’s OS platform.
Now I have to scan and pack up the old phone for mailing. The cycle begins anew. Sheesh.
