Dear diary,
Unfreaking believable! I am just sitting down after awoken at 0600, leaving home at 0700, picking up my Starbucks hot coffee, traveling for 45 minutes in the post holiday traffic, waiting on Mom, waiting for Mom to complete her OT and PT activities, getting her undressed, into bed, and into diapers, and waiting for lunch for her (and me of course) before going off to my 1430 doctor’s follow up appointment!
I’m sweating due to the room is stuffy though shaded by old trees. I’ll have to remember to pickup my epoxy glue for real welding, remember to unload mom’s lightweight transport chair, and go back which is probably NOT practical after 1500 pm because of traffic!
And so I’m shopping for a new lightweight hybrid transport wheelchair. If Mom doesn’t improve after the beginning of September, I quit. Her eyes are off from heavy medications. But she’s done two hours of exercises with the OT and PT. So there’s still hope though she can’t seem to grip strongly with both hands or sit up, stand or walk well without help.
Once again, staffing is limited and for the clinically – approved patients, I’m expecting better service, which is fully covered. I see adult care in blue outfits. They’re learning how to do my stuff so I can do my own stuff and live!
Sheesh,
Flynn B – sweating in the back. Eew!
