Well I’ve been practicing the Tenor part in conjunction with the Alto part, even though I’m a mezzo-soprano, whatever.
The song piece ‘O Come, Emmanuel’ by Elaine Hagenberg, whom my boss knows, is easy flowing and within my lowest range comfortably. The ‘Cherubim Song’ by Dimitri Borgiansky is slightly to almost too low but doable.
I can’t seem to hit the notes perfectly but for somehow I’m able to sing the ‘memorized’ feel or general placement of notes in its proper order! It’s weird but my brain can easily shift outta tune and yet maintain the relative order of notations. Get it?
So yeah, I can start out the ‘Father most merciful’ by Cesar Franck perfectly, but tend to waiver a bit and loose my place later on. I can hear the perfect pitch inside my head as perfect reference for this particular song, followed maybe by ‘O Come, Emmanuel’.
I think the loudness of the sound via the earbuds to my piano app of my iPad A1822 (2017) works well to program my stiffened gray matter while preventing disturbing noise to others, mainly my parents, nearby at home.
Yup.
