From 2020 to 2318, my maternal first cousin and her auntie, my Mutha, chatted via Yahoo Messenger. Dad and I were listening and said very little.
The HP Webcam was pointed to the two old timers. Yesa saw Mutha batted/berated me a few time. I hope the fat one realizes that both our mothers are demanding but pricks.
The fat one did most of the talking and that tells me that she is intelligent, although she came from a broken home and was dirt poor growing up.
Of course, the twosome helped put the butter ball through college. She is a civil engineer in the Philippines. Her second husband would brag to his family that she is no ordinary mail order bride, of course.
She had potential not to stay home all day while he works as a delivery guy of chickens. And Mutha advise her to take care of her husband and herself by cooking healthy food.
As usual, our maternal relatives are pretty much country folksand when there is opportunity, they don’t ask outright for free-handouts. So Mutha wanted to give only $100 to the thick-skinned woman when returns from Australia to the Philippines.
Mutha rationalized that giving free money, err, donation to these priests who are nothing but complete strangers and other church-related events is wrong when she has relatives back home that age could have helped.
Yup. Charity is overrated. The sins committed are to many for one to handle, which is why there is the network of alleged “friends” where immediate family/relatives fail.
So that’s why I wouldspend for myself rather being so generous; since the outcome is uncertain, meaning once the funds leave your hard-working hands, there’s no telling what parasites would latch on and never leave.
This is my karmic debt. Instead of the ability to move about freely and like Yesa, we are prisoners in our homes. Love is nothing without money. Prove me wrong, chumps!
