En route homebound, it was blowing hard! I left the building at 1645 with the client and at 1700. I was on northbound highway 101 when twilight occurred.
I could see the big rigs slow down. I saw behind me a pack of slower traffic while I pushed 75-80 mph out of impatience. I felt my car swerve. I heard the deep winds upon my car.
Lots of gravel from a dumpster truck trickled my window. Some loose cardboard crossed in front. One plastic-like object bounced upon my felt bumper drum the right and somewhere to the left.
But I made it home around 1730, the same time Belinda came home from work. I saw her checking the mailbox. I saw her garage light was already turned on.
Mom and Dad greeted me.
I lay in bed and could hear the winds blowing against the window screen. I usually crack open a window for fresh air and could heard the wooden blinds move in tapping noises.
