While waiting for Mom at the doctor, I’m thinking of scanning and archiving. It’s fun to think of keeping history. But eventually these must be gone.
Yesterday, I donated three old bird cages, several small circular cooking wire racks and a heavy bronze one with and eagle design, and the hand-held electric driller with extra battery pack.
I don’t look forward to keeping non-essentials and can’t imagine doing a garage sale for things that are junk.
Mom wanted me to sell two Tiffany-styled lamps online via eBay, but it’s a hassle. I prefer just letting it go without looking back.
At 1101, the headhunter called. But I was on the road. I replied to yesterday’s text message that I emailed him my updated resume yesterday and returned his voice message today, but got nothing.
Again, I can afford to stay home with my parents and “pay down” my indebtedness as a living assistance, driving, cleaning, screaming.
Today, I plan on scanning and archiving more paperwork before trash-can night tomorrow, which is Thursday for Friday morning’s pick-up.
I couldn’t donate the larger cage because my stupid trunk is too small! I’ll have to borrow the Benz and sneak in a free car wash for the troubles.
After mass, we talked to Gloria, the Chinese born and raised a Filipino before today’s errands. She gave Mom two laminated pieces of prayers for health.
It’s 1920 p.m. and my stomach aches from overeating dinner. It’s been aching since my gluttony for the past few months. I can’t help myself anymore. I’m living it up.
So after we came home from groceries, we ate lunch and picked up Dad’s car. We guessed $835, $820, $792. The total was $843.29. The black Mulatto girl with cat paws tattoos processed our payment.
Because I ate too much, I kept passing out while driving home in separate cars. I felt my hands drop from the steering wheel and my feet release fun the brakes.
Surely, there should be an artery scraper and vacuum cleaner for clogged arteries like mine. Or at least something automatic to stabilize blood sugar, glucose levels.
