To the Boss:
I was feeling sad that the quiet organist didn’t accompany us last night during choir rehearsal. The feeling was empty, disappointment, and different. I get used to people even for short while and then I get anxious if they’re not present.
Thanks for being good and VERY patient to allow your substitutea brief time to fiddle with the damn music while you waved your conducting tempo. I clapped my hand on excitement, thinking he’d be just as good as her. But he’s not the same!
As for the original choir master, she’s a damn creep. She looked disinterested as I waved/smiled a greeting to her. She was nice to give me a good copy of your Ave Verum Corpus. But she was nasty stern to new at the end of rehearsal. She told me to return #25 back to the bin.
Prior to rehearsal, during, and up to now, I don’t want to sing anymore. I’ve already expressed my “disinterest” August 1st. Now I really don’t show up this weekend. It’s not worth my time anymore.
Huh,
Flynn…
P.S. Seems like perfect timing for organist to be out of town over the weekend of your sister’s “big day”. Hmm.
