On a side note, I noticed yesterday and two days ago, that Manong Ben reminded the parishioners to be gentle when lifting up the “kneelers”, which doesn’t have “bumpers” to soften the slamming noise. He spoke first in English and then in Filipino. Then he invited a Vietnamese guy to speak the same announcement in his language. (I noticed the parochial vicar would also follow-up any announcement in Vietnamese. And that’s good for our mostly Asian community.)

I believe that our pastor took note of our concern/complaint (with Maw being the most vocal and clearer representative than Paw and me) during that night at the house with nine other people. Also, he probably heard my recorded mumblings to this effect of providing a “FRIENDLY REMINDER”, which would include cleaning up after your mess, tidying up the pews, covering up your boobs and butts with appropriate attire (not the kind worn to parties), and watching your speed limit on and around the premises.
