20120611-Random Notes

Here are my boring notes of boring events in my boring life:

~Dinner time: Dropped vial of Humulog insulin. Have noticed that today was an “eleventh” hour. Maw dropped something this morning and I dropped something this evening. Noticed that we have been dropping things around the house recently, NEVER too frequently in one year/one month/whatever.

1222. I noticed that the dashboard for the MB E430 read as 43,009 (odometer) and 980.0 (speedometer). I can’t help but see double-digit numbers nowadays. Its frequency is daily and usually eleven and 666!

1215. Maw’s endocrinologist wrote down food items that contain high phosphorous: chocolate, daily products, beans, nuts and liver. This was after coming from a 45 minute travel from the office toward home and back again because we forgot Maw’s glucose meter, which is necessary for downloading/reporting/adjusting any changes in the insulin injections.

Later that afternoon we ate hotdog at Weinerschnitzel for lunch and got our small cones as desserts, too. We spoil ourselves and our health. C’est la vie!

En route to the doctor’s appointment earlier, we saw three highway patrol cops parked on the right emergency lane, a few miles apart until Fair Oaks. Seems like tickets and stranded vehicles that time. (Note taken/recalled on 20120612 1033am).

~1144. Noticed Comcast truck parked one corner ahead of the yellow fire hydrant when I came back from the doctor’s office. After I got the glucose meter and the wrong medication for Maw’s lunch, I noticed an AT&T parked a few feet ahead of where the Comcast used to park. In a matter of thirty seconds for me to stop at the stop sign after fetching, did the first truck disappear. I will continue to make notes of these alleged “telecommunications” vehicles in and around my neighborhood, where they are NOT supposed to be. Hmm. (Note taken/recalled on 20120613 0144 am).

~0930. Maw dropped coffee all over her polyester black pants and matching striped shirt of brown, black and white (collar). It went all over the WHITE polyester table cloth. And I ended up doing laundry that evening after seven, which is a good time to save on electricity — not sooner that seven at night in our area, okay? Good! (Note taken/recalled on 20120612 1034am).

0808. Yesterday during the Sunday mass at 10:45 AM, two ASIAN women were talking LOUD because it’s their tradition. Maw gave them a dirty look over her left shoulder and they shut the f^ck up. I heard the woman sitting to the left of the manly-looking Asian woman talking about us possibly being Chinese and then Vietnamese in Mandarin and then later in Cantonese. I shook my head each time, not that I understood a word. (Hehehe!) During the peace offering, the mother of two Asian kids seemed to partially wave with two hands as if saying “don’t touch/go near me” and offered a half-grin. Sheesh! This place is NOT well-mannered/behaved! I’m not going to scare/eat/harm/hurt/injure you fools! Just get out of my way, that’s all. (Bahaha!)

0651. Had been trying new/old WordPress.com themes for free because I can’t make up my mind between “Post Formats” and “Excerpts” displayed on the front/home/index/search pages and not necessarily for the single post views. I like nice icons for ALL “Post Formats” and clicky links to the ones designated as “Links”. So far “San Kloud” and “Tapestry” are the closest with the “Vertigo” themes being next to the hybrid kinds that I had in mind.

0757. After evening mass this coming Saturday, there will be a get together of FILIPINOS-only for a going-away-party and a buffet (Filipino/Vietnamese) place up in Milpitas. The droopy-eyed Poi was standing outside the main doors/waiting for us to agree to a $15 a meal (or $35 for the three of us). Of course, she bragged as usual and mentioned no one else would know of the place without her using the F^ckedbook, where she keeps in touch with her “family” back home in the Philippines. Of course, there has to be enough reservation so they could close the place us for the rest of the evening. I don’t think no more than a couple of dozen people would attend.
