So Minh is talking to Maw about her primary care physician, who raised his voice at her, his patient. He wanted her to get a stent for the heart and a treadmill test but Minh refused because she accepted her fate, a weak heart.
The doctor is Middle Eastern in descent. They tend to “talk down” to people, especially to women. He told her that she needs these two services to avoid going “bananas in the head” and going to the retirement home.
We had to change primary care physician from an Iranian because the Chinese doctor left the private practice for a job in the hospital.
For example, the Iranian tossed a sample towards my parents and laughed but bent over to retrieve the medicine from the floor.
This goes to show what a bad move America made for opening the floodgates for immigrants, illegal or not. I would NOT do business with the nasty ones.
